Appreciating the value of an enterprise generation

Young People’s Enterprise Forum is a non-profit making organisation that aims to encourage enterprise activity in 5 to 30 year olds. With around 2 million people in Yorkshire and Humber under the age of 30 our aim is to engage in an entrepreneurial culture.

To encourage young people to have a more enterprising outlook and to consider the possibility of starting their own businesses one day the Forum brings together a group of private and public organisations all involved in promoting enterprise amongst young people. This incorporates enterprise education at all levels, community activity and the transition into self-employment and business start ups.

We aim to create long change in the region’s culture, introducing greater appreciation of the value of an enterprise generation. This is achieved through running programmes with our members that brings schools and businesses together. This gives young people the chance to learn key business skills and run their own companies in a bid to prepare them for the work place.
