The forum was launched in early 2000 as a cornerstone of the regional Business Birthrate Strategy, with the key aim of supporting the creation of an enterprise culture, where the values of entrepreneurship and creativity would be valued by young people.

Who does Young People’s Enterprise Forum cater for?
All young people between the ages of 5-30 years old.

How is Young People’s Enterprise Forum constituted?
The Forum links business support agencies, education providers, non public bodies, voluntary groups, government departments and statutory authorities. The forum meets about 4 times a year and holds an annual conference.

What kind of assistance and support is available from Young People’s Enterprise Forum?
Members of the Young People’s Enterprise Forum offer young people business support, access to financial, and assistance with developing entrepreneurial skills.
